Healthy relationships can look different for different relationships and different people. Some of the main themes in healthy relationships are that they value healthy communication and healthy boundaries. Being able to have healthy, open, and honest conversations to express feelings and needs is an essential component of any relationship. Working together to set healthy boundaries can help strengthen relationships, as well as providing a deeper understanding for each partner (Love is Respect, n.d.)

Healthy Relationships and You

This presentation focuses on developing an understanding of what a healthy relationship looks like and developing the necessary skills for one. Whether it be an intimate partner relationship or relationships amongst friends, roommates, and classmates. Session objectives include:

  • Developing effective communication skills.
  • Increasing knowledge of healthy boundaries and how to set them.
  • Increasing conflict resolution skills.
