The Department of Health Promotion and Wellness is excited to announce the eighth annual Wellness Week. There will be a series of events to promote health and well-being centered around the Alabama Model from Sept. 18-23. Come join these signature events and learn about resources in your community to help enhance your well-being!

Monday, Sept. 18

QPR Training

This is a Suicide Awareness Week event hosted in collaboration between Health Promotion and Wellness, the Counseling Center and Tide Against Suicide.

Career Fair Crash Course

Coffee and Mental Health

Intercultural Diversity Center, 2100 UA Student Center

The Intercultural Diversity Center and Counseling Center presents Coffee and Mental Health, where participants have an opportunity to speak with therapists in a one-on-one setting. The program provides an environment for participants to ask questions, get to know the UA therapists and learn about the Counseling Center as a student resource. In addition, the program will offer a space for guests to learn about the many mental well-being resources the counseling Center has and ways they can connect with the Counseling Center. Coffee and Mental Health will occur every third Wednesday of the month from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Intercultural Diversity Center.
